Tariffs & Bookings

Our tariff varies depending on season. Please check for rates. Tariff is inclusive of linen, electricity and towels (except beach towels) and guaranteed relaxation.

We will hold a provisional booking for 7 days and ask you to pay a 50% deposit to secure your stay and complete the booking form or information within. The balance is payable 1 month prior to your holiday.

Payment: We request by bank transfer.

Booking Terms & Conditions

Lower Anchorage is situated in Hugh Town, overlooking the harbour, a short distance from the quay.

Tariff: The weekly rate for 2027 is £1,825 in the high season which runs from mid-June to mid- September. The remainder of the season starts from £895. Rates are inclusive of heating, electricity and hot water. Please phone Andrew & Seline on 07920 49 49 74 or 01409 261167 to discuss requirements and tariff for your preferred dates.

Linen: Linen and towels are provided but not beach towels.

Bookings: Usually we only accept bookings for a complete week commencing on a Thursday. Please check our Availability Calendar to see if your preferred dates are available. Although the calendar is updated regularly we recommend you contact us to discuss your booking. If you require a winter break we are happy to discuss shorter stays and different arrival days. The property may only be occupied by the agreed number of guests at the time of booking. If you wish to amend the number of guests this must be agreed in advance of your stay.

Deposits and Reservations: Offers of reservation are usually held for a period of one week. Verbal bookings are only confirmed after receipt of a 50% deposit of the full tariff per week. When booking please make your travel reservations as flights are often fully booked some time in advance.

Payment of Bills: We do not accept credit cards. The balance of your account is due to be settled one month before arrival, by bank transfer, details above.

Cancellation and Insurance: Lower Anchorage is let on the understanding that once a booking has been confirmed following receipt of your deposit then in the event of a cancellation for any reason, a charge equal to 50% of the full rate will be due for cancellations from this time up until two months prior to arrival, 75% for cancellations between one and two months of the booking date and 100% thereafter. This amount is fully refundable if the week can be re-let. Whilst we do our best to re-let we advise that insurance is taken out to avoid such eventuality. We regret that we cannot make allowances for absences occasioned by transport disruptions.

Arrivals and Departures: Guests are requested to vacate by 10.00am. There is a safe place for your luggage to be stored and those arriving before 2.00pm are equally welcome to leave their luggage there.

Pets: Regrettably we are unable to accommodate pets. Smoking: Lower Anchorage is non-smoking throughout. There is an ATM at the Post Office in Hugh Town.

Please leave the apartment as you would wish to find it. We do not take deposits for breakages, but rely on your honesty, so please inform us of accidents.
