Tariffs & Bookings

Our tariff varies depending on season. Please check for rates. Tariff is inclusive of linen, electricity and towels (except beach towels) and guaranteed relaxation.

We will hold a provisional booking for 7 days and ask you to pay a 50% deposit to secure your stay and complete the booking form or information within. The balance is payable 1 month prior to your holiday.

Payment: We request by bank transfer.

Booking Terms & Conditions

Situation: Lower Anchorage is situated in Hugh Town, overlooking the harbour and is two minutes away from the quay.

Tariff: The weekly rate changes depending upon season. Rates are inclusive of heating, electricity and hot water. Please phone on 07920 49 49 74 or 01409 261167 or email to discuss your preferred dates.

Linen: Linen and towels are provided but not beach towels.

Bookings: Bookings are usually only accepted for a complete week commencing on a Thursday. Please check our Availability Calendar to see if your preferred dates are available. Although the calendar is updated regularly we recommend you contact us to discuss your booking. If you require a winter break we are happy to discuss shorter stays and different arrival days. The property may only be occupied by the agreed number of guests at the time of booking. If you wish to amend the number of guests this must be agreed in advance of your stay. Please download and return the attached booking form.

Deposits and Reservations: Offers of reservation are held for one week. Bookings are confirmed after receipt of 50% deposit. When booking please make your travel reservations as flights are often fully booked some time in advance. There is a shuttle service from the airport which meets every flight. The Scillonian docks a short walk from the property.

Payment of Bills: The balance of your account is due to be settled one month before arrival by direct bank transfer.

Cancellation and Insurance: Lower Anchorage is let on the understanding that in the event of a cancellation for any reason, a charge equal to 50% of the full rate will be due for cancellations up to two months prior to arrival, 75% for cancellations between one and two months of the booking date and 100% thereafter. This amount is fully refundable if the week can be re-let. Whilst we do our best to re-let we advise that insurance is taken out to avoid such eventuality. We regret that we cannot make allowances for absences occasioned by transport disruptions.

Arrivals and Departures: Guests are requested to vacate by 10.00am. There is a safe place for your luggage to be stored and those arriving before 3pm are equally welcome to leave their luggage there.

Dogs: Regrettably we are unable to take bookings for dogs.

Smoking: Lower Anchorage is strictly non-smoking throughout.

Banks: There are no bank branches on Scilly, though there are cash machines at the former Lloyds bank and in the Post Office on St Mary's.

We do not take a deposit for damages or breakages – but gratefully rely on your honest to notify us. We would also ask you to please leave the apartment as you find it. Thank you.
